Billboard placed them among “Tomorrow’s Hits,” and Nate Ruess of Fun. And A Great Big World invited the group to open up recent sold out shows.
The story of SECRET WEAPONS’ signing to Epic Records is nothing short of unbelievable. The pair—Gerry Lange and Dan Rocco—had stirred up a palpable buzz throughout New York City with packed local shows. However, at the same time, Dan worked at Epic as a lawyer. His days were spent behind the scenes, while he took the stage at nights. “Something New” started to take off on Spotify, and caught the attention of Epic Records Chairman & C.E.O., LA Reid. Now, Dan signed a contract with Epic instead of writing one...
“Something New” impacts radio in early 2016, and SECRET WEAPONS is currently working on their full-length debut.
