Nashville, TN (July 18, 2017) – Wheelhouse Records’ breakout duo Walker McGuire (comprised of Jordan Walker and Johnny McGuire) made its momentous Grand Ole Opry debut this past Friday, July 14.

Walker McGuire performed two songs in the legendary hallowed circle, including its debut single, “Til Tomorrow,” and crowd-pleaser “Lost” (from its forthcoming album) for a sold-out audience on a bill that also featured Opry members Connie Smith and Jeannie Seely, Carly Pearce, and genre mainstay Jamey Johnson. Rounding out the monumental evening, Walker McGuire invited longtime friend and producer Mickey Jack Cones to play guitar alongside them as part of the duo’s backing band.

Walker McGuire has been busy crisscrossing the U.S. touring in support of “Til Tomorrow,” which continues its ascent at Country radio and has garnered 20 MILLION Spotify streams to date. They were recently lauded as a Rolling Stone Country “Top Ten New Country Artist You Need To Know.”

About Walker McGuire: Signed to BBR Music Group’s Wheelhouse Records, Walker McGuire (comprised of Jordan Walker and Johnny McGuire), take an opposites-attract approach to their music, fusing electrifying “brotherly” harmonies with a fresh new take on modern country.

After meeting onstage at a writers round just days after moving to Nashville, Jordan – the “super country” guy, raised in Texas with a love for classics like Keith Whitley and Dan Seals – and Johnny – the quintessential “rootsy” guy, a Kansas City native schooled by left-of-center icons like Tom Petty and John Prine – discovered a yin-and-yang musical connection that fit together like puzzle pieces – and the duo Walker McGuire was born.

The budding duo’s buzzworthy debut single “Til Tomorrow,” which has garnered over 20 MILLION Spotify streams, impacted Country radio on April 10, 2017 as a Top 3 Most Added song. They are currently working on their debut project for Wheelhouse Records, due out later this year.
