NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013) – From happily announcing her marriage to her long-time boyfriend on  People.com to receiving the heartbreaking news that her beloved grandfather, for whom she wrote the songs “Knowing What I Know About Heaven,” and “All You’ve Got,” passed away, it’s been an emotionally turbulent week for rising country artist Sarah Darling. However, thanks to the steady outpouring of love and support from fans on social media, she holds her head high today and celebrates the worldwide release of her first Christmas E.P., aptly titled, Have A Merry Little Christmas Darling. The new release is NOW AVAILABLE digitally on iTunesand physical copies can be ordered at www.sarahdarling.com.

The highly-anticipated four-track holiday timepiece, produced by Emmy-nominated Music Director (Grand Ole Opry, CMA Awards, CMA Country Christmas), Steve Gibson, features some of Darling's most cherished Christmas classics, including “The Christmas Song,” “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” “Silent Night,” and a powerful cover of Joni Mitchell’s original, “River.” "You will hear so much of who I am in every track," Darling says. Holding the memories of Christmases with her grandfather especially near to her heart this year, she reveals the purpose of recording this E.P. was not only to get new music out there for her fans, but to also bring families and friends closer together throughout the holidays.

"This is the season of giving and spending time with those you love. I hope this music can serve as great background and inspiration throughout all of your festivities, and take you away to nostalgic times of Christmases past," she says.

Steve Gibson offered to produce this independent release for Darling after watching her perform at the Grand Ole Opry since 2011. He says, “Sarah is the most naturally-gifted female vocalist I’ve ever worked with.” Got Country also applauds the work writing, “With instrumental accompaniment reminiscent of times gone by, Gibson lets Darling’s vocals shine on each classic holiday tune.”

A portion of physical sales of Have A Merry Little Christmas Darling will be donated to Live Beyond, a 501(c)(3) that provides mobile medical disaster relief, including free clinics, relief supplies and healthcare to the impoverished after natural disasters.

Pete Fisher, President of the Grand Ole Opry and board member for Live Beyond says, “Over many performances, I have witnessed Sarah share her God-given talents with Opry audiences of all ages.
