NEWS: THE DOLLYROTS TO RELEASE 'BAREFOOT AND PREGNANT' ON FEBRUARY 18

Never ones to slow down, Los Angeles based The Dollyrots are gearing up for the February 18, 2014 release of their 5th studio album Barefoot And Pregnant, an effort funded by fans through an ongoing PledgeMusic.com campaign and produced by the band with John Fields (Jimmy Eat World, Andrew WK, Miley Cyrus,) with mixing by Paul D. Hager (Har Mar Superstar, Katy Perry). The full-length is set for release on the band's own Arrested Youth label with select/TBA partners for distribution.

Choosing to once again take the DIY route The Dollyrots have the power to make their own decisions and choose their own direction. Turning to their fanbase to help achieve their vision through crowdsourcing while sonically going back to rowdy punk rock roots, Barefoot And Pregnant is an album for both the band and longtime fans to be proud of. The upcoming record is the follow-up to the group’s 2012's self-titled LP, which followed two albums on Joan Jett's Blackheart Records and a 2004 debut through Lookout/Panic Button Records.

A new album is not the only thing coming soon… The Dollyrots, Kelly (vox & bass) and Luis (guitar) are expecting their first child literally any minute now, which they and their fans have deemed "The Dollytot".

In the spirit of playing it forward the band is donating 5% of any money raised after their PledgeMusic goal is reached to MusiCares.
