"Every now and then you meet someone and you feel like you are meant to know them, meant to be friends. That's been the case for me with Kevin. The amount of common ground between us is wild - from both of us telling stories that went viral, to the challenges we face dealing with depression in our own lives, to the simple fact that both of us are tall dudes who love basketball - it's safe to say we have a few things in common. I'm really proud of this video, proud that it's honest, and I think I speak for both of us in saying that we hope it invites other people to be honest as well." - Jamie Tworkowski

Melbourne, FL - December 20, 2013 - Non-profit organization To Write Love on Her Arms has released a new video entitled,"One on One: An Honest Conversation," today on VIMEO. In this video, Jamie Tworkowski sits down with new friend, Kevin Breel, to discuss their many commonalities. Both told stories that went viral. Both struggle with depression. They discuss the challenges and insecurities that have come with attention, along with the importance of being honest. They also speak about their biggest fears and greatest dreams. Kevin Breel will be speaking at TWLOHA's annual HEAVY AND LIGHT in January 2014. Kevin Breel is a 20 year-old writer and stand up comic from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Last May, he gave a TED talk about dealing with depression. The talk went viral with more than 2 million views. He is now speaking frequently at colleges and universities, and was recently featured on NBC's Today Show, as well as MTV. Random House just announced they will be publishing Kevin's first book.

Jamie Tworkowski founded To Write Love on Her Arms in 2006 after writing a story and selling t-shirts to pay for his friend Renee's drug treatment. Both went viral and TWLOHA grew into a non-profit organization. Since then, Jamie has spoken at nearly 100 colleges across America. He has been featured on NBC Nightly News, CBS Sunday Morning and in Rolling Stone Magazine. In 2011, he accepted the one million-dollar grant on behalf of TWLOHA at the first-ever American Giving Awards. This generous award was used to fund the nationwide HEAVY AND LIGHT tour in 2013.

HEAVY AND LIGHT 2014 will be taking place in Los Angeles and Orlando. HEAVY AND LIGHT is a unique evening of songs, conversation, and hope. For these two shows, there will be intimate acoustic performances by Jon Foreman (of Switchfoot), The Summer Set (winner of 2013 Macy's iHeartRadio Rising Star Campaign), Mary Lambert (best known for singing on Macklemore's anthem "Same Love"), Anis Mojgani(award-winning spoken word poet), and a special guest (to be announced). All artists will perform in Los Angeles on January 11 and Orlando onJanuary 19. For more information, please visit: www.TWLOHA.com.

HEAVY AND LIGHT is not a benefit show, but an attempt to move people and let them know it's OK to be honest and to ask for help. This message is shared onstage not only through music, but also through the powerful words of mental health counselors, TWLOHA representatives, and inspiring speakers. Kevin Breel and Amanda de Cadenet, host of the acclaimed celebrity interview series The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet, will also be speaking in Los Angeles. Everyone who attends a HEAVY AND LIGHT show will also leave with a list of local mental health resources for depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide.
