HUNTRESS has kicked off yet another year of relentless touring, following the release of their critically acclaimed album Starbound Beast. The band had an amazing run on this summer's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, and is currently out on the road with the legendary Danzig for his 25th Anniversary tour with Misfits guitarist Doyle.
Today HUNTRESS is proud to present their video for the song "Zenith". The spectacular video was directed by Phil Mucci, whose video for HIGH ON FIRE's "Fertile Green" was named best video of 2012 by Revolver. Check out the exclusive premiere of "Zenith" HERE, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting.
Director Phil Mucci spoke about working with Jill Janus: "Jill doesn't compromise; she wanted something her fans would cherish for years to come. In a disposable world, she's very conscious of her legacy, as am I. It's more than a music video to us. It's a gateway drug."
Jill cannot wait for the fans to see "Zenith": "You better pack your bongs now 'cuz this is going to trip you the fuck out! Huntress is ecstatic about our new music video for 'Zenith'. Director Phil Mucci is a visionary who brought our galactic hallucinations to life. HUNTRESS dedicates 'Zenith' to our fans who've inspired us on this path, and who continue to travel with us on our cosmic musical journey. Together we will smoke the galaxies and blaze a new future for true heavy metal!"
The band will also be hitting the road with heavy metal heavyweights Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage and Testament! The tour kicks off October 22nd in Toronto, ON, and runs through November 26th in Silver Spring, MD. Tickets are on sale now.
Starbound Beast, is out now on Napalm Records. The album is available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon and in Best Buy stores in the US.
HUNTRESS was spawned from the preternatural union of Jill Janus with underground metal bands Professor and Dark Black. They thrive on thundering drums, heavy riffs, spectral solos and catchy choruses that come from the band's musical concoction of occult science and bong rips. HUNTRESS remains true to the roots of melodic heavy metal with a penchant for thrash, death and black metal.
