JANE'S ADDICTION RELEASES LYRIC VIDEO FOR "ANOTHER SOULMATE"

(Los Angeles, CA - August 20, 2013) Just over a week into the 2013 Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival, featuring Jane's Addiction, Alice in Chains, Coheed and Cambria, Circa Survive and many others, the reviews are in. The powerhouse combination of these diverse acts has proven to be a winner with fans and critics alike, and Jane's Addiction continues their prowess as one of the best live bands today:

"The bands on the 2013 Uproar Festival may not all hail from the same schools of rock but together they make up an eclectic lineup that you'll likely never get to witness together anywhere else. If you think you can handle a full day of face-melting rock 'n' roll, then Uproar is calling your name." -Loudwire

"Uproar Festival blends classic, modern rock to satisfy all..." - Buffalo News

"Jane's Addiction put on a show that's not easily forgotten. Perry Farrell's childlike enthusiasm is contagious and refreshing." - Noisecreep

"...still a must-see, especially the highly entertaining Farrell and Navarro, who is a guitar slinger of the highest order. Highlights included the group's best-known song "Been Caught Stealing" and other early tunes such as "Ain't No Right," "Mountain Song," and "Ocean Size," plus 2003's "Just Because." - Go Lackawanna

"Without hesitation, the band launched a heavy collection of hits from their storied career. Twenty minutes in, the raucous, youthful hit "Been Caught Stealing" got every one who was still sitting up on their feet.  Dave Navarro...capably proved his prowess as a top-tier musician with rollicking guitar solos that floated from the pit to the densely populated lawn." - Scranton Times Tribune

"Jane's Addiction took the stage and then proceeded to burn it down....the band brought a restless, muscular and distinctly fiery vibe to the stage." - Buffalo News

"Jane's Addiction are still capable of bringing danger to rock and roll..." - Examiner

Jane's Addiction is currently celebrating the 25^th Anniversary of the release of their first album, Nothing's Shocking, and will be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this October. Not known for slowing down the pace, the band has just released a lyric video for their new single, "Another Soulmate," which premiered on Consequence of Sound yesterday, and will be performing some additional solo dates during the Uproar Festival dates through September (listed below).
