Vice's electronic music and culture channel, THUMP, is premiering the short film for Grammy Award- winning producer Just Blaze and rising-star producer/DJ Baauer's track "Higher" featuring Jay Z. The clip is directed by Nabil, known for his work with Kanye West, Bon Iver, and Frank Ocean among others, takes place in the Kerala region of India, home to some of the oldest forms of martial arts, and showcases the immense skills of Kalaripayattu warriors both young and old. THUMP worked with the newly re-launched Priority Records and the artists to make the film possible, becoming not just a premiere partner but a creative partner in the process as well, echoing their efforts on the wildly popular video for Disclosure's "When A Fire Starts to Burn". The single will be celebrated with a release party at an undisclosed location in New York. For more info visit http://www.higher813.com/.
