PHILADELPHIA - The Red Baron will land at Philadelphia's Love Park this Sunday for a performance of his eclectic hip-hop fusion at Gospel Rama #18.

The Philadelphian (via Atlanta) recently released the acclaimed single "Nobody," a tribute to Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant, and other young men who have died similar deaths. Proceeds from the sale of the song will go toward the creation of a scholarship in their name at Morehouse College.

Red Baron's music focuses on his faith in Christ and fulfilling his role as a husband, father, attorney, and Adjunct Professor at Temple University. It fuses jazz, the blues, rock and soul, yet still rings true of hip-hop.

"I often tell people that hip-hop and my car have a lot in common," he said. "Aside from making a great deal of noise, both are vehicles.  I use hip-hop as a means to communicate God's truth and aspire to create music that is thought-provoking and relevant, honest and life-changing in the process."

Red Baron's most recent studio album, "Shades of Grace," has also been met with critical acclaim and rave reviews from listeners worldwide. "It is a blessing to continually hear that the music has resonated so well with people," he said. Those who are interested may access it at www.paintedred.net.

Red Baron is scheduled to perform at 3:30 p.m. at Gospel Rama #18 on September 28 at Philadelphia's Love Park.

"I count it an honor to participate in Gospel Rama #18," he said. "Love Park is an iconic location in the heart of Philadelphia, and thereby is an excellent location to bring all types of people together.  There is a great line-up for the day.  September 28th should be a day to remember."
