NEWS: MEET SKELETONWITCH & WIN $100; NEW BEHIND-THE-SCENES VIDEO UNVEILED
As midwestern metal heathens SKELETONWITCH prepare to hit the road with Ghost B.C. and The Black Dahlia Murder, the band is excited to reveal a special contest for their fans: Supporters in three markets along the tour trail will have the chance to hang out with the band at a local record store while listening to their new album "Serpents Unleashed!" Additionally, anyone who purchases or pre-orders the album during these events will receive a scratch-off ticket, one of which per location will reveal a snake and entitle the holder to win a $100 shopping spree on the spot! Additional details can be found below.
Scheduled for release in North America on Oct. 29 (Oct. 28 EU/UK, Oct. 25 G/A/S and Australia), "Serpents Unleashed" was recorded earlier this year at GodCity Studio in Salem, Mass. with Kurt Ballou (Converge, Trap Them, High on Fire). Today, the band reveals the latest chapter in their behind-the-scenes video series documenting the making of the album, which focuses on their time spent in "Witch Country". Check it out HERE.
Described as the band's "best effort to date" by Decibel Magazine, "Serpents Unleashed" is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2011's Billboard-charting "Forever Abomination." You can get an instant download of the single "I Am Of Death (Hell Has Arrived)" -- the music video for which premiered last week (see below) -- when you pre-order the album digitally on iTunes or Bandcamp! Physical versions of "Serpents Unleashed" are also available for pre-order now in a variety of formats at www.skeletonwitch.com. Additionally, the band's three previous Prosthetic releases are on sale for $7.99 each for a limited time via iTunes HERE.
