Risen amongst the ghastly lakes in the deep north of the Italian countryside, FUOCO FATUO soon established themselves a reputation as a brilliant band, both on record and in live performances. The eerie elements that made their demo EPs so special have been further cloaked in unheard heaviness, anxiety and DOOM on The Viper Slithers in the Ashes of What Remains. If this wasn't enough for you to slice your wrists, the artwork from up-and-coming artist Raoul (http://viewfromthecoffin.bigcartel.com) accentuates the listener's despair and furthers his "todessehnsucht."
