LAS VEGAS, NV (October 30, 2014) – To celebrate the spirit of the holidays, Las Vegas headliners Human Nature will launch a brand new show titled “Christmas, Motown and More” in The Sands Showroom at The Venetian Las Vegas. This show will be presented beginning Friday, Dec. 12 with tickets going on sale Thursday, Oct. 30.
Featuring an 11-piece band with a string section, a spectacular new stage production, and the vocal harmonies of Human Nature, “Christmas, Motown and More” will include a special guest appearance from Robin Meade, country music artist and host of HLN's “Morning Express with Robin Meade.”
“After 20 years of helming the morning news, it still comes as a surprise to many people that I’ve been a vocalist longer than that! I relish this chance to join Human Nature for their Christmas show,” said Meade. “If the experience is anything like our ‘Sleigh Ride’ duet on their new album, the energy for the audience is going to be combustible! Honored, and pumped!”
The acclaimed Las Vegas group will perform 14 Christmas classics from their new chart-topping record, The Christmas Album, including “Please Come Home For Christmas”, “Sleigh Ride” (duet with Robin Meade), “Silent Night - O Holy Night,” and “Winter Wonderland.” They will also perform a selection of Motown hits they have become famous for, including “My Girl” and “Reach Out I’ll Be There.” The blending of holiday cheer with Human Nature’s signature Motown sound makes “Christmas, Motown, and More” the ultimate family Christmas experience in Las Vegas.
“Like everyone, the holidays are a special time of year for us and we want to share that feeling,” said Human Nature’s Andrew Tierney. “We had so much fun recording our Christmas album that we thought we should let our fans in on that fun. That’s what the new show is all about: bringing the spirit of the season to you.”
Human Nature’s “Christmas, Motown, and More” will perform for eleven days beginning Friday, Dec. 12 with a special 1 p.m. matinee show on Christmas Eve.
