Today, Swiss metal/hardcore institution Kruger premiere the video for "Adam and Steve" at heavily trafficked tastemakers Metalsucks.net. "A righteous satirical jab at right-wing homophobes who use that phrase as part of a slogan for their moronic propaganda," says Metalsucks, the track hails from Kruger's highly anticipated new album, Adam and Steve, set or North American release on January 20th, 2015 via Listenable Records. Adam and Steve follows Kruger's widely hailed For Death, Glory and the End of the World, from 2010, and is the band's fifth album to date in a career which spans 13 years of heavy duty and thousands of miles across Europe. Witness "the soundtrack to one of the most fun, creative music videos of the year" exclusively HERE, courtesy of Metalsucks.net.

Born in 2001 in Lausanne, Switzerland, Kruger started playing music in complete indifference. First came a self-released debut album, Built for Speed, and then Kruger's first few gigs with Swiss heroes Knut and Nostromo. A couple lineup changes ensued, and a second album, Cattle Truck, followed in 2004. Worldwide fame is still quite in its infancy, but the band starts playing abroad and catches the eyes and ears of France’s Listenable Records, in full Gojira madness at the time.

Kruger's first album for Listenable, Redemption Through Looseness - mixed by esteemed Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou - grabs the world’s attention in 2007. A tasty mix of Entombed-thick sound, Neurosis roughness, and some Tool lyricism, Redemption Through Looseness would later be released on vinyl through Roadburn Records. The band tours across Europe, and starts being invited to the continent’s most famous greasy spoons (Hellfest, Roadburn, Montreux Jazz, Dour, Transmusicales, Inferno, Paléo, Brutal Assault). 2010 saw the release of For death, Glory and the End of the Worldon Listenable Records, which finally gets Kruger's name nailed in the middle of the world post-metal battlefield map. And celebrated, too, as a hell of a live act: far away from their studio tidiness, the Swiss quintet go berserk on any stage, regardless of a variable audience (a nicely wide range of 2 to 2500 lucky ones, according to the band’s records).

Then, in 2013, Kruger release the two-song 10’’ 333 before hitting the road Europe as support for their godfathers Gojira, promising a full-length album soonish. That pledge will be fulfilled January 20th, 2015 with Adam and Steve, once again produced by the band and mixed by Cult of Luna’s Magnus Lindberg: eight tracks in 45 minutes which honor Kruger's inclination for abrasive Breach-esque melodic bursts, double-kick metallic charges, punkish exuberance, and abstruse lyrical concepts. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:
