Today, British heavy metal legends Satan present the first installment of a tour diary on heavily trafficked web-portal Hellbound.ca. The tour diary will chronicle the band's current North American tour (dates after the jump), and precedes the forthcoming Trail of Fire - Live in North America (promo after the jump), set for North American release on November 18th by Listenable Records. The band's first official live album to celebrate their live debut appearance on North American soil in support of their latest and very successful album, Life Sentence, the raw 'n' pure Trail of Fire - Live in North America is also testimony to the disturbing fact that Satan played 6 U.S. shows in 6 days in 6 states! As such, it sounds 100% genuine and live. Read about how genuine the Satan live experience is exclusively HERE, courtesy of Hellbound.ca. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

Originating from Newcastle, England and forming in 1980, Satan were known as part of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal movement. Though generally obscure throughout their career, the band is considered influential for playing a form of proto-thrash metal that was fairly advanced by the standards of the early '80s, influencing major acts like Metallica, Exodus, and Death Angel. Following their triumphant headline show at Bloodstock Open Air and an opening spot with Iron Maiden at Hellfest in front of 25,000 people, Satan will continue their worldwide 'Live Sentence' tour into the autumn in the remaining North American cities:

October 27 - Portland, OR  @ The Rotture

October 28 - Seattle, WA @ Highline

SATAN is:

Brian Ross – vocals

Steve Ramsey – guitar

Russ Tippins – guitar

Graeme English – bass

Sean Taylor – drums
