New York, NY (October 20, 2014) - Vacationer debuted a new video for the song “Go Anywhere” today with Paste Magazine.

“Go Anywhere” was shot in Glenmoore, PA by director / producer Matt Albasi.  He wanted to capture Vacationer’s dreamy, escapist vibes.  The idea was simple - put them in a hot air balloon and film it.  It was a perfect fit.

Vacationer is currently on road in support of their critically acclaimed sophomore album, Relief, headlining a series of dates across North America. They were just announced to perform at the Life Is Beautiful Festival on October 24; they will play select dates with St. Lucia and with Bleachers in Philadelphia at Union Transfer on November 26 (tour dates listed below).

Relief was released, June 23^rd on Downtown Records and has since been getting a lot of airplay across the country, especially on Sirius XM’s Alt Nation, KCRW and XPN to name a few as well as garnering stellar reviews.  KCRW calls the album “… a perfect soundtrack to summer…” while KCRW’s music blog declared it, “…a breezy, feel good pop record that I highly recommend.”  The Boston Globe says the “…songs unfurl at a leisurely pace, sounding like interludes in old movies about exotic locales, but topped with samples, hip-hop beats, and dreamy guitar lines” while The Guardian (UK) stated “If Vampire Weekend started purveying 1950s-style exotica, it might sound a bit like the music made by Vacationer, …expansive, lushly orchestrated…”

Vacationer is a collaborative effort with vocalist/bassist Kenny Vasoli and his production partners Grant Wheeler and Matthew Young from the band Body Language.
