Developing through a mutual love of burgers, booze, skating and a drummer by the name of "Birdman," LA's Criminal Hygiene are back with theTurpentine 7" via New Professor Music on January 20, 2015 and slew of tour dates with their buds, Twin Peaks and Meatbodies.

Comprised of Michael Fiore, Michael Hiller and Sean "Birdman" Erickson, Criminal Hygiene have been toiling around the environs of LA since 2012,merging influences ranging from The Replacements to Nirvana for a sound that  LA Weekly called, "a blend of catchy song structures and skate-rat not-give-a-fuckery."

Lauded by the likes of The Fader and SPIN for their "fantastically boisterous garage-punk," the first single, "Turpentine" is a bit of a sonic departure for the trio, with strummed acoustic guitars bolstered with Hiller's snarling punk vocals and thumping bass lines that Entertainment Weekly compared to Mikal Cronin and boasted, "some of the riffs here sound like Jimmy Page ditched the studio and grabbed a surfboard."

The Turpentine 7" is the band's follow up to the Withdrawn EP (Cultist Records) and Criminal Hygiene/Dagos 7" Split (Summer Bummer Records) from earlier this year and New Professor is also set to re-release their 2013 debut LP, CRMNL HYGNE in January.

Criminal Hygiene embark on their mini stint with Twin Peaks and Meatbodies, this week and will close out 2014 in Chicago with two sold out shows at Lincoln Hall with their pals, The Orwells. Pre-order the Turpetnine 7" here.
