Winter 2013 was a particularly busy time for Jocelyn and Chris - Jocelyn was completing her final year of high school and prepping for her first year at Harvard while her brother Chris was a high school junior busy with solidifying his position as valedictorian for his senior year. With Christmas looming, Jocelyn and Chris wrote the song as a gift to their parents, Ted and Libby, whose undying support had given them the confidence to pursue the music they now loved so much.

Regarding the song, Jocelyn comments "This song really means a lot to us. It's our own idea of the Christmas season: A time of year where everything is just a little more special, when that warm feeling takes your heart and makes each of us feel connected. I am so happy with how the recording turned out and I can't wait to share it."

The song takes an unusual approach to recording - in addition to a wonderful group of professional musicians, Jocelyn and Chris decided to enlist family members to play on the recording. Cousin Don Fertman, formerly of "The Crayons," was enlisted on bass while cousin Kate Arndt, who at age 17 is considered a top up-and-coming classical violinist, was enlisted for violin.

Originally inspired by local classic rock stations and their parent's bottomless CD collection, sister and brother Jocelyn and Chris Arndt create songs that blend soulful vocals with blues infused indie rock. Their seemingly effortless ability to blend genres combined with strong, impassioned performances, continually draw audience attention wherever they perform.

Throughout her musical career, Jocelyn has played the Big Apple Indie Music Series, Black Bear Music Festival, Move Music Fest, and the Utica Music & Arts Festival as well as appearing live on Fox Television's Good Day New York and has performed throughout New York, Massachusetts, Virginia, Michigan, Tennessee, and Georgia.
