Today we are reaching out in hopes of getting a conversation started around TWLOHA founder, Jamie Tworkowski's, recent TEDxTalk, entitled, "Depression and Desire" and his latest TWLOHA blog post entitled, "Empty Seats at the Oscars. A Fight Renewed Each Morning."

Both the TEDxTalk and blog are moving pieces centered around the topic of encouraging people to be honest and ask for help when they need it. You can check out Jamie's TEDxMalibu presentation HERE: http://youtu.be/8rtThtVdnrc

In TWLOHA's newest post, Jamie comments on the heart-breaking loss of Phillip Seymour Hoffman, and how such events can and should be learning experiences for others that are currently suffering from addition, depression, and/or self-injury. In the piece, Jamie states, "Break the silence and break the cycle, for you are more than just your pain. You are not alone. And people need other people." Read more HERE:  http://twloha.com/blog/empty-seats-oscars-fight-renewed-each-morning
