You Me At Six's return to the U.S. couldn't be coming at a better time. The band's fourth album, "Cavalier Youth", which was released January 28th via Prospect Park, landed at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Heatseekers Album Chart, proving their success is nowhere near confined within country bounds. This international breakthrough followed just a few days after "Cavalier Youth" earned the No.1 spot on the U.K. charts, bumping Ellie Goulding's "Halcyon Days" to No. 2 and beating out Beyonce.
About the band's crossover success in the US, lead vocalist Josh Franceschi says, "Having a number one record in the UK this week has been a dream come true. To be Number one in the US New Artists Chart is incredible for us, and a huge step on from our previous releases." He continues, "Such an exciting start to a year in which we intend to work very hard in the US and Canada."
Their list of UK accomplishments include three Gold-Certified albums, three of which reached Top 5 on the UK Album chart, selling out Wembley Arena, and charting 10 singles on Radio 1's A-List. And after their recent sold our US tour and rave reviews about "Cavalier Youth"pouring in at unstoppable speed, UK's biggest rock band You Me At Six is shattering borders and proving that their music carries its weight across the globe - and the fans have never been more ready.
