Described as an "over-the-top metal assault which builds around complex, Yngwie Malmsteen-esque guitar patterns" (Columbus Alive), SoCal shredders EXMORTUS will continue their live attack, tearing up stages across the country alongside German thrashers Destruction and Brazilian death metal stalwarts Krisiun. The tour, which kicks off this week, will last until mid-April; full dates can be found below.

EXMORTUS have been out on the road non-stop since the beginning of the year in support of their Prosthetic Records debut, "Slave To The Sword" (which Decibel claimed "might be considered the most metal album ever released"), including a month-long trek with Dark Tranquility & Omnium Gatherum and a recently completed run with Lich King. The band was recently featured co-hosting Sirius XM's "Liquid Metal" show with Jose Mangin following the release of their music video for the track "Foe Hammer," which can be seen below:

"Slave To The Sword" is available now on CD, Cassette and LP (black & limited-edition blood red variants) from the Prosthetic webshop here: http://store.prostheticrecords.com/bands/exmortus.

You can also get a digital version on either iTunes, Amazon MP3, or Bandcamp.

Co-founded a decade ago by then-teenage cousins Conan (vocals/guitar) and Mario Moreno (drums), EXMORTUS self-released several demos and EPs before signing with Heavy Artillery Records in 2007. The group’s 2008 debut “In Hatred’s Flame” and 2011 follow-up “Beyond The Fall Of Time” earned praise for their “frighteningly aggressive thrash blended with both death metal and NWOBHM bluster” (Blabbermouth), and their exuberant, shred-heavy live performances can convert even the most jaded heshers into enthusiastic headbangers.
