About MEAN Clothing Company: MEAN. It was more than a word to Barry when he stuck it on his guitar the day of the "Home" video shoot back in 2004. It meant something to him; something of great power. It signified strength, and it signified perseverance. MEAN was a declaration of Barry's state of being and his mental attitude. Fueled by great passion: Music, and anunyielding desire to succeed, it was in the early days of Three Days Grace that Barry decided to get MEAN.
Inspired by people, events and places in Barry's life, MEAN then became a tangible thing to him, through expressions of art. That is when the distinctive MEAN skull with a bullet hole in its head came about. Barry says the skull with the bullet hole represents, "We are here until death, but you can't kill Rock 'n' Roll."
Since the inception of the MEAN idea in 2004, the brand developed into a clothing company. Barry collaborated with other creative people and came up with badass designs, then printed them on shirts and hats, and mainly gave them out to fans, friends and musicians over the years.MEAN Clothing Company continued to develop and finally launched their online store February 20, 2014.

About Barry Stock: Born in Belgium, raised in Canada, the son of a Canadian Armed Forces Officer, Barry grew up an army brat. From a young age Barry learned that if you wanted something, you had to go out there and get it for yourself, you had to work hard for it, you had to MEAN it. His father instilled that dig-in assertiveness. Still to this day, these words of encouragement from Barry's father resonate, "I don't care what you want to be, just be the best you can be at it."
Barry's passion for music began at a young age when he would sneak into his older brothers' rooms and listen to their record collections. Inspired by rock bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and AC/DC Barry picked up a guitar and taught himself how to play. From the age of 16 years onwards Barry focused on music. He worked in the industry, wrote and recorded, and played in numerous bands.
In 2003, Barry joined Three Days Grace as their lead guitar player. Barry was a co-writer on all Three Days Grace albums following their debut self-titled album.

Their previous album Life Starts Now (2009) debuted at #3 on the Billboard album chart and spawned three #1 singles ("Break", "The Good Life", and "World So Cold,") at rock radio formats. "I Hate (Everything About You)," the breakthrough single from their debut self-titled album (2003) had a stronghold on the active and modern rock charts for over 47 weeks.
