Grammy-nominated artist and globally acclaimed DJ, PAUL VAN DYK is coming to New York City  to round out an epic Memorial Day weekend with a show at Governors Beach Club at Governors Island in New York City, Monday, May 26.   Tickets are on-sale now at: http://www.madeevent.com/events/Paul-van-Dyk-Governors-Island-May-2014

PvD has been ranked the world’s No. 1 DJ by DJ Magazine’s “Top 100 DJs” poll two times, something less than a handful of DJs have ever achieved and he continues to place firmly in the top ranks among electronic dance artists. His popular radio show VONYC Sessions can be heard on iHeartRadio’s Trancid Channel in the U.S. and over 50 stations worldwide.

The Memorial Day date also coincides with the release the Las Salinas remix of PvD classic “Crush” on VANDIT.  10 years since it first put a squeeze on club floors, “Crush”—a much-treasured lead track from his Grammy-Award nominated Reflections album--has never had an official remix sanctioned…until now.   Las Salinas’ reimagining of “Crush” begins in prog-trance zones, with deep, thunderous and resonant tones. Backed by meaty, vibrant kicks and Antoine Toupin’s still shiver inducing vocal call, Bircher & Harari engineer a master-class rollout of progressive tension. With its deep bongs, super-echoing panned FX and swimming pads, it finally relents to the tide of soaring strings, big ripped riffs and hard “Crush” chimes.  Look for this track and much more to be highlighted during PvD’s monumental Governors Island set.
