As You Are, the debut solo album from Floridian singer-songwriter Jason Lancaster, is available today via Outerloop Records on iTunes.

"It was so much fun working with Zack and Kenneth again that there were times that I forgot I was even working! I've never had such a smooth and easy production of a record, let alone songs that I'm so in love with. Listening to this record come to life in the studio was in the top 5 moments of my entire musical career, and I'm way too blessed!" - Jason Lancaster

Lancaster's solo effort is a deeply personal collection of songs that reveal his evolution as an artist through the genuine subjects of his lyrics and melodic-rock arrangements. As You Are is Lancaster's defining work, as the voice of which he has made a career resonates with more honesty and pride than ever before.

"It's a real honor to have an artist like Jason Lancaster join the label roster at this stage," states Outerloop Records president Mike Mowery. "I first fell in love with this voice when Mayday Parade released their debut album A Lesson In Romantics. From there I've followed Jason's musical journey from Go Radio to this fabulous collections of songs on As You Are. As a label we are elated to have Jason on our roster and As You Are on our expanding list of releases."

In celebration of the release, Jason has teamed up with Purevolume to release the lyric video for "Climb Up To My Window," with the full album stream premiering with Alternative Press last week. Check out the lyric video below.

JASON LANCASTER - For songwriter Jason Lancaster, formerly of Go Radio and Mayday Parade, a revelation is at hand. To begin the next chapter of his life as a husband and father, Lancaster has cleared the way to launch his career as a solo artist. Lancaster's debut album As You Are takes the same melodic-rock sensibilities from his previous work and frames them with a new sense of wisdom for the listener. Lancaster's lyrics deliver a humble perspective of a man well versed in the trails and tribulations of growing up: touching on themes of faith, true romance, and the innocence of youth. As You Are is an album for music fans of every age and every stage of life. The album provides a rich spectrum of upbeat rock music to soulful acoustic songs, telling the story of Lancaster's return to the music scene. His growth as an artist shines through the twelve tracks, from the earnest heart-on-sleeve boy to a man of conviction and poetic insight. As You Are offers an experience to be heard, felt, and lived.
