NEWS: Robertson Family Fashion: Flagship Women's Boutique, Duck & Dressing

MONROE, La. (Fri., June 27, 2014) – The Robertson women of A&E’s hit reality series “Duck Dynasty” continue to turn heads and make headlines for their beauty and fashionable forays, even with their heels stuck in the bayou mud. It was that foothold that inspired Korie Robertson to open a flagship retail store, Duck & Dressing, in their hometown of Monroe, Louisiana with foster daughter Rebecca Robertson at the helm. With Rebecca’s fashion background and the family’s vast social media following, it only made sense to offer their favorite fashion selections via an online store atDuckandDressing.com, as well, to meet the demands of an eager fanbase.
 
The store carries a wide array of brands from Dolce Vita to Paige Denim to Wilt and also showcases seasonal lookbooks with several of the Robertson women photographed in the latest styles and trends.
 
“We are so proud to call Monroe home, and we want to do everything we can to see the commerce in the city continue to grow and meet the demands of the burgeoning communities,” shares Korie. “I have always wanted to open a women’s retail store and to have the opportunity to do it with Rebecca has been a real dream come true.”
 
The website also showcases a fashion blog Rebecca oversees that features selections from each season with her suggestions for combinations for clothing as well as accessories.
 
One blogger notes, “I saw familiar lines like Henry & Belle and BCBG along with new names and a line of screen-printed Monroe-themed tees and sweatshirts designed by the Robertson ladies.”
 
"I’m excited to reach an audience who loves to have a little fun with fashion through our website, Instagram and other social media outlets” adds Korie. “I’m also glad fans will get to know Rebecca a little more through her own blog on the Duck & Dressing site.”
 
The flagship store is located at 411 DeSiard Street in Monroe and is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or available 24/7 online at www.duckanddressing.com and on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @DuckandDressing.
