It’s Friday! You’re ready to let loose and have a good laugh, right? SON OF AURELIUS just posted a hilarious new infomercial-style album teaser video – in terrible, cheap, retro style – blinking price tags, cheesy television salesmen, testimonials, and all.

“This video is about our new album Under A Western Sun, but it also features a lot of other things like couches and the guy from Allegaeon,” mentions vocalist Riley McShane.

Take a look and order your copy of Under A Western Sun at www.sonofaurelius.com!

Under A Western Sun builds upon the basis of the band’s existing sound while boasting clear musical growth and a fairly substantial change in style. Listen to a track-by-track overview of the album here via the Aurelicast SoundCloud page.

Under A Western Sun is an independent project – no crowd funding and no record label, with co-production from Zack Ohren at Castle Ultimate Studios. Under A Western Sun comes four years after the band’s breakout album, 2010’s The Farthest Reaches, an album Ultimate-Guitar.com touted as, “insane… every metal fan should listen”, and Metal Injection called, “one of the most gushed-about death metal records of the year”.
