Artist Direct premieres the new video from Dreaming Bull for the song “No Use” from the band’s recently released self produced and self-titled album.

"No Use was one of the first tunes we locked down for the album. Lyrically it's sort of like our mini biography. Full of all that dirt and old fashioned grime you hear in the opening minute of the track. We followed suit with the album. We're lovers of all things gospel, bluesy, old and crusty. There's these pockets of vintage goodness pin pointed across the album" Dreaming Bull’s Gabe & Nic

Infusing rock n’ roll with jazz, blues, edge, passion, and soul, Dreaming Bull is Gabe Rowland and Nic Capelle. It was during a chance meeting between these two music lifers when Gabe’s band opened for Nic’s in Chicago and the duo bonded over a mutual love of “dusty, old vintage gospel and lost blues,” that their vision was born.

Their sound has already been prized by music supervisors. The song “No Use” added dramatic punch to the season finale of USA’s “Suits.” And “Get Things Done” also from the debut album, soundtracked Carl’s Jr.’s “X-Men: Days of Future Past” ad while “Dirty Girl” fit the vibe for FX’s “Sons of Anarchy.”

Both members are not new to the circus; Gabe sat behind the kit for Moby, John Cale and his own bands Momma Stud (Virgin) and The Peak Show (Atlantic) and is a go-to collaborator for Beastie Boys producer Mario C.  Nic’s first band won an international talent search when he was 20 and his band Capelle had a fierce following in Europe.

Now is the time for Dreaming Bull.  Picture an old shack, a jug of moonshine or two, some beat up gear and a crowd on the porch. As the summer heat beats down, the band is telling stories with their music in a raw and inspired fashion. It’s a throw back to gin joint anecdotes, street corner legends and back alley tales but it will take you on a brand new journey and ignite a new fire.
