Big Data, masterminded by New York native Alan Wilkis, is known for creating paranoid electronic music that deals with the nature of the interaction between man and machine. Artist Graham Roberts, a designer at the New York Times, has created a unique kind of bio for Big Data - an infographic with details about Wilkis' background, origin of his moniker and more. Big Data's web presence has had a recent facelift thanks to the genius minds at Makeable, an innovative digital marketing, brand and web design company. Says Makeable, "This creative collaboration was driven by the idea of infiltrating and appropriating some of the most iconic and popular internet brands. And making them ours, literally. Leaning heavily on each company's most recognizable assets, we meshed, infused and ultimately transformed Google, Twitter, Reddit, Wikipedia, Netflix and YouTube into Big Data brands with our unique attitude and assets." Big Data also joins the Spirit Music Group roster this month. Spirit Music is a team of music-driven executives, well versed in the history of songs and songwriters and expert in the industry that's grown up around them. With diverse backgrounds in music publishing, entertainment law, recorded music, film and television production and brand marketing, the company's staff offer both second-to-none traditional publishing services and customized, push-the-envelope strategic thinking with respect to song and career promotion.

Big Data will play Brooklyn Bowl on July 12 with "Dangerous" collaborator Joywave, in addition to a handful of one-off US dates this summer. Then in November, the band will join Fitz and the Tantrums for a few weeks on their US tour.
