Grammy nominated alt rockers Cage the Elephant’s hit single “Cigarette Daydreams” is #1 on the alternative radio charts, making this their 5^th #1 song on the alternative radio chart. Cage The Elephant’s current album Melophobia is nominated for a Grammy in the “Best Alternative Music Album” category and the band will be performing the #1 hit “Cigarette Daydreams” on Conan on February 4^th.

That same night, Cage The Elephant will take their frenetic live show to Santa Ana’s “The Observatory” to kick off a string of live shows and festival performances, some of which sold out in just minutes. “Matt Shultz owned the stage like the love child of Mick Jagger and Iggy Pop, dancing spastically and shirtless while the band tore through an exuberantly punky and danceable set -- that had the crowd giddily jerking back and forth to the beat,” wrote Billboard. As a testament to their brilliant live show, Cage The Elephant’s concert filmed live at the Santa Barbara, CA Art Foundry, will air on February 13th on the Emmy-nominated PBS series Live From The Artists Den.
