(New York, N.Y.): Kill Matilda, a female-fronted, dance-punk trio, are currently cruising the U.S. on the winter leg of their tour, traipsing across the country now through February. The band, hailing from Toronto, Canada, is all about several key pursuits, such as slaying zombies, drinking beer, sweating profusely, and rocking the hell out.

This tour, which began last summer and is now entering the home stretch, marks the band's first U.S. trek in support of last year's#PUNK#ZOMBIE#ROCKNROLL.

Lead by charismatic singer Dusty Exner, Kill Matilda's inflammatory blend of punk rock grabs you by the scruff of the neck and shakes you.

"We came from Canada to participate in the American rock 'n' roll dream of endless touring and heading south for the winter," Dusty said. "We've broken into the U.S. market by putting together a powerhouse six-month tour that has exposed us to almost every major music market. Now in month five of six, we've found everything we were looking for and more; the fans have been amazing, the opportunities have been humbling, the weather has been a blessing, and we keep selling out of merch."

She continued, "We've been everywhere from Massachusetts to Mexico and we still have six weeks to go. It's clear that the U.S. is hungry for rock 'n' roll and we are here to give it a punk rock knuckle sandwich!"

Through the years, Kill Matilda have shared stages with Guttermouth, The Vibrators, The Brains, Powerman 5000, and more, playing hundreds of shows across their native country, including showcases at NXNE, Drummondville Metal Fest, Soreal Fest, and more.
