NASHVILLE, TN (October 2, 2015) – Nashville Lifestyles unveiled the 16th annual “25 Most Beautiful People” issue, featuring ABC “Nashville” actor and musician Chris Carmack on the cover, Wednesday night (9/30). In previous years, stars such as Taylor Swift (2014), Sheryl Crow (2013) and Carrie Underwood (2006) have graced the cover. The eagerly-awaited issue is now on stands throughout Nashville.

Every October, Nashville Lifestyles celebrates Music City’s most beautiful residents, inside and out, in its “25 Most Beautiful People” issue. Immersing himself in the Nashville community, Carmack has been a part of raising funds for charities including Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and organizations supporting LGBT acceptance throughout the city. Tomorrow (10/3), he is teaming up with Vanderbilt for the second annualRally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup benefiting pediatric cancer research and treatment.

Continuing the momentum, prominent music site Daytrotter unveiled Carmack’s session, featuring live recordings of select songs from his forthcoming EP.

Earlier this week, he released the title track "Pieces Of You" to digital retailers. The song is a "perfect showcase for the singer's sweet, vulnerable vocals," recognized Rolling Stone. "‘Pieces of You’ is a tender ballad taking stock of all that's left behind after a break-up.”

Currently in production on “Nashville,” Carmack has been featured on THE MUSIC OF NASHVILLE soundtracks in addition to performing on the 2014 and 2015 “Nashville” concert tours. Fans can see Carmack perform live with his fellow cast mates tomorrow night (10/3) at the Grand Ole Opry’s 90th Birthday Bash in Nashville, TN.

About Chris Carmack: The Washington D.C. native, who grew up playing saxophone at a young age, turned his attention towards jazz band and theatre in high school. Upon graduating, he studied at NYU’s esteemed Tisch Adler Conservatory before heading out to Los Angeles where he helped launch the theatrical production of “The Day I Stood Still.” Carmack would spend his off-time practicing guitar, which would later come in handy for his role on "Nashville." His performance in “The Day I Stood Still” attracted the attention of the producers from the hit drama “The O.C.,” who cast him as “Luke Ward” in the series in 2003. After completing his work on the show, Carmack returned to the stage in NY at the Roundabout Theatre Company, where he took on the role of “Sloane” in “Entertaining Mr. Sloane,” alongside Alec Baldwin and Jan Maxwell. He also performed in London, playing John Buchanan in Tennessee Williams’ “Summer and Smoke.”
