Detroit, MI | October 2, 2015 - Today marks the release of electronic-rock phenomenon Blue Stahli's highly anticipated sophomore effort, 'The Devil.'  Three years in the making, the album features 12 high-energy tracks showcasing Blue Stahli's talent for creating unique mixes with metal riffs, rock hooks, and heavy electronic-infused production.  Additionally, he has teamed up with Revolver Magazine to premiere the title-track, "The Devil" off of the album.  "The Devil" can be heard here.

Blue Stahli comments, "I made this album to be a kinetic blast of electronic rock that throws you headfirst into a hyper-edited mashup of neon cyberpunk flicks, the atmospheric VHS glow of sci-fi and horror...the surreal fantasticism of weird fiction. Each album I aim for making an event soundtrack to your favorite late-night, go-to movie that doesn't exist (yet). This beast is built of massive guitars, pop hooks, an onslaught of electronics, and cinematic atmosphere meant to engulf you and create a world you can escape to."

Blue Stahli's music and original compositions have been featured in countless staple television shows, films, and video games, including American Horror Story, Iron Man 3, and X Men: Days of Future Past, and his last single, "Ultranumb," has been streamed over 30 million times worldwide. Leading up to its release, Blue Stahli has also released a handful of tracks from 'The Devil,' including "Armageddon," "Down In Flames," "The Fall," "Enemy," "Ready Aim Fire," and "Not Over Til We Say It's Over," featuring Emma Anzai of Sick Puppies on bass.

'The Devil' is available on iTunes, Spotify, the FiXT webstore, and more.

It is said that The Devil can take many forms. It is by that virtue on which The Devil, sophomore LP from Detroit-based electronic rock act Blue Stahli, stands so tall-you will never see the twists and turns that lie in store for you. The opening notes of "The Beginning" echo an aura of foreboding as the pounding of the drums of war begin to boil your blood and before you know what's happened, you've got your fist in the air. Each heart-pounding anthemic track, like bombastic "Armageddon" and the encouraging "Rockstar," will have you crying out every word. Even the record's more somber tracks, like "Enemy" will have you moving in a sinister fashion. And while The Devil may be alone inside, it hasn't come to play without friends-bass assassin Emma Anzai (Sick Puppies) steps up on "Not Over Til We Say So" to deliver an unparalleled performance of bass groove and backing vocals. Mark Solomon (Argyle Park, Stavesacre, Neon Horse) joins the dark side with some whiskey-fueled aggression on vocals for "You'll Get What's Coming." And it wouldn't be The Devil without the help of legendary producer Klayton (Celldweller, Circle of Dust) and mixing from Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, Of Mice & Men, I See Stars) and Rhys Fulber (Conjure One, Front Line Assembly, Fear Factory).

About Blue Stahli: The sole member of Blue Stahli, Bret, comes from a background of fetish burlesque troupes, drag queen fronted punk bands and believes that he is visited in his dreams by the ghost of William S. Burroughs.

The music of Blue Stahli is a roller coaster ride derailed mid-journey, landing on another track, only this time rolling backwards. Just when you think you know what Blue Stahli has in store for you, the floor drops out from under you and sends you straight into a cacophonous amalgamation of sounds you never imagined could be combined. Sometimes aggressive, artistic, and full of piss'n'vinegar, other-times vividly cinematic and wildly epic. Trailers and promos for films like "X-Men: Days of Future Past," "Iron Man 3," and "Star Trek: Into Darkness" all the way to TV shows like "American Horror Story," "Arrow," and "Criminal Minds" along with video games "Twisted Metal," "Call of Duty," and "Dead Rising 2" feature Blue Stahli to create an exhilarating musical backdrop. Either that, or one of their family members was held for ransom.  Bret has never "technically" been convicted, so we may never know.

After his self-titled debut album delivered a double-barreled blast of anthemic intensity, emotional escape, and enough adrenaline to make you feel as though you could singlehandedly take on an entire army, Blue Stahli returns with his sophomore album "The Devil." Venomous and infectious vocal hooks fuse like a cyberpunk horror flick with heavy metal chainsaw guitar riffs threaten to burn cities to the ground in a blaze of hooky, distorted glory. Slick electronics and dramatic production provide a gripping cinematic atmosphere with more intrigue than a box full of Bond flicks.  Live drums and tribal toms are pulverized with a ferocity typically reserved for guerilla warfare while sexy breakbeats cut through with a precision hellbent on giving you and your hips more groove than is physically or legally allowed. These songs of fury and release will get stuck in your head and stay there.  Do not defy them.

The pure visceral feeling of Blue Stahli is a getaway drive into oblivion, cutting a jet-black swath down midnight asphalt. Clawing, scratching and tearing through to catharsis with the hyperstylized jagged edge of revenge.   Art is a weapon. Use it.
