One continuous piece of music from start to finish, "Laurestine" is a supremely intense journey in sound, created with the help of a 30-piece orchestra. Through its music and lyrics, the album tells a story of one man's post-mortem odyssey toward an afterlife. Influenced heavily by film scores, "Laurestine" brings modern classical composition into the realm of metal and hardcore, resulting in a truly "post-metal" experience that is technically awe-inspiring and emotionally ravaging. "Laurestine" was recorded by Dean Baltulonis (Lucero, Sick of It All) and by Chris Montgomery (Lily Allen, Mumford & Sons).

Whilst connected to the current Brooklyn scene that also counts Tombs, Sannhet, and Primitive Weapons in its ranks, this band of native New Yorkers owns its own unique voice and occupies its own space, set apart by the grandeur of its orchestral arrangements.

A "Laurestine" record release show is set for October 24 at New York's legendary DIY performance space, ABC No Rio. For further details and tickets, click HERE.
