NEW YORK, NY – The Outlaw Roadshow (http://theoutlawroadshow.com)  founded by the Counting Crows’ songwriter Adam Duritz and Boston radio host + music blogger Ryan Spaulding (http://rslblog.com) have announced new events in New York City this October and in Tel Aviv in November.

For three nights: October 15, 16 and 17, The Roadshow NY will offer free showcases with 36 live acts including some of the globe’s best emerging music. The nights will take place at the world-famous Bowery Electric.

Music fans can RSVP to attend the event via the Outlaw Roadshow app, available for IOS/Apple and Android. The app will spotlight each of the artists selected to play this year’s events as they are announced in the coming days. Expect music, bios and photos that will get fans up close to the music even before the first note is played.

Artists in this year’s New York lineup include: Buffalo Rodeo, These Wild Plains, K Phillips, Jill Andrews, Diana DeMuth, OldJack, Ninet Tayeb, The Quaildogs, Zip-Tie Handcuffs, Mobley, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Cheyenne Medders, The Longwalls, Nate Leavitt, Ryan Hamilton, The Rationales, Golden Bloom, Skunkmello, Matt Sucich, Seth Adam, Alan Semerdjian, INFJ, Lauren Marsh, Daniel Thomas Phipps, Town Meeting, Aloud, Daniel Blue (of Motopony), Avid Jacob, Butch Parnell, Sean Barna, Tyler Stenson, Julie Rhodes, and Allysen Callery.

“We’re excited to share the artists as they are announced via the website and social media and – at the same time – for users of this exciting new App. It’s a way for us to be with our music friends and it reflects the connection many of us have experienced on an ongoing basis for this project,” says Spaulding. “New York and now Tel Aviv will be our third and fourth adventures this year. All the acts we have featured in previous shows in Nashville and in Austin will all be there as well in the new App. We like to think of everyone involved as being a part of the family, and it’s a clan that continues to grow larger every day”

On November 11, The Outlaw Roadshow will be amongst the opening showcases for Israel's Tune-In Tel Aviv Music Festival – celebrating regional and global emerging music acts. The 11/11 showcase at Azur (The Zone Club) and will feature a new crop of stellar emerging acts including: Dani Dorchin, Sawyer, Sun Tailor, Maya Johanna, Lola Marsh, Lost Highways.

Spaulding has been invited to speak at the Tune-In Tel Aviv International Music Conference about The Outlaw Roadshow and his work as a radio host, a former TV producer and music blogger.

"We are thrilled to be partnering up with Ryan Spaulding & Adam Duritz to co-present the first ever totally international version of The Outlaw Roadshow... Tune in Tel Aviv is the perfect platform to showcase high end emerging artists, our goals are totally inline with the ethos of supporting independent musicians which Ryan & Adam have been doing for the past many years"- Jeremy Hulsh- founder/executive producer of Oleh! Records RA- Israel's Music Export Office & Tune In Tel Aviv.

There is a culture of artists who have played previous Roadshows and die-hard fans who the group have all come to treat as family. Both the artists and the fans often refer to themselves as Outlaws.

Duritz and Spaulding met during a press interview in 2008 as Counting Crows were about to release their Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings album. They became fast friends and decided they wanted to find a way to work together. The Outlaw was born. After the first few Roadshows blew up in Austin and in New York City, The Outlaw founders knew they were on to something.
