In anticipation for another night to remember at Emo Night Brooklyn (ENB), Alternative Press announces that the special guest DJing ENB on Friday, November 13th at Brooklyn Bowl will be none other than pop-punk legend Kenny Vasoli, best known as lead singer/bassist of The Starting Line.

Founder Alex Badanes reflects on the personal importance of Vasoli's work in The Starting Line had on his life, "My friend showed me Say It Like You Mean It in 7th grade and I listened to it on my Walkman everyday on the bus that year," Badanes explains, "I have been hooked on TSL ever since and this is literally a dream come true for me and the rest of the ENB crew. Is this real life?"

In addition to ENB on November 13th, the team will also be hosting the first ever Emo Night Brooklyn Goes To Vegas at the Brooklyn Bowl's Las Vegas club on Saturday, November 21st where Yellowcard's Ryan Key will be guest DJing.

When Key was asked by Alternative Press why the Emo Night Brooklyn event concept excites him, Key responded, "I think the coolest part of this happening everywhere is knowing our band was a part of something. So many bands came together at a moment in time and created a scene that people are still drawn to."

Key's Yellowcard bandmate Sean Mackin actually DJ’ed ENB in the past and noted to Alternative Press that, "My favorite thing about being a part of Emo Night Brooklyn was seeing so many people celebrate with this style of music in 2015. It had the atmosphere of a Yellowcard show. It was awesome. I think what makes Emo Night Brooklyn such a cool experience is it gives people that grew up fans of this genre of music a place to go out and cut loose as adults. Having the opportunity to go out with friends and not have to go to a crazy club with silly bass playing, that is pretty cool."
