NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015) – Celebrities, internationally renown designers, musical guests and society’s finest celebrated at Nashville's newest elite event Off The Record – an evening of high fashion and musical performances created by Neste Event Marketing and EntertainmentBuy’s Gil Cunningham – on Sunday, Nov.1, kicking off a week of festivities leading up to the CMA Awards on Nov. 4 on ABC.
“Nashville is on everyone’s radar right now as an ‘it’ city, and our team felt that it was important to marry the fashion and vibrant music scene with an event that was uniquely 'Nashville',” Cunningham expressed.
Neste Event Marketing is a Nashville-based production company known for placing talent with festivals and corporate events throughout the US for many years. Cunningham and his team, headed by Event Director Jessica Beattie, joined forces with celebrity designer and stylist Christiev Alphin and GoWest Production to create an forgettable evening. Lighting and staging was provided by Premier Global Production.
Over four hundred guests were welcomed into Sylvia Roberts’ estate, best known for its appearance on ABC’s Nashville, to browse pieces from top designers throughout the world on display and for sale in 12 rooms of the home. Guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails by Patron Tequila as musical guests Chase Bryant, Kaleo and Old Dominion performed poolside acoustic performances.
As the performances came to a close, guests took their seats for the fashion show featuring full lines by Ani&Ari, Kaufman Franco, Gucci, provided by Nordstrom Green Hills, Johnathan Kayne, MINXX by Margaret Roberts, Tribe Kelley by Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line and his wife Brittney and John Varvatos with performances by country-newcomer Maren Morris, award-winning singer/songwriter Phil Vassar and STYX’s Tommy Shaw. Following the show, The Cadillac Three performed to wrap up the evening.
In mid-October, Off The Record partnered with Red Gold Tomatoes to donate 43,000 lbs of tomato product to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and on Nov. 1, Second Harvest were the recipients of another Off The Record donation – receiving the proceeds from the silent auction which was held throughout the evening.
