R&B powerhouse Kehlani has unveiled a new track just before her whirlwind year comes to a close. The attitude-packed song “Did I” – which saw its world premiere yesterday via Apple Music – is now available for download and stream. “Did I” samples the ethereal track “Intuition” by indie artist Feist.

Following a recent successful European headline tour, Kehlani will cap off 2015 with three sold-out “Tsunami Christmas” shows: two nights in her hometown of Oakland, CA at the Fox Theatre (Dec. 19, 20) and one final night in Santa Ana, CA at the Observatory (Dec. 22).

Kehlani’s latest mixtape You Should Be Here was recently nominated for a GRAMMY for Best Urban Contemporary Album. She is now hard at work on her debut full-length album due in 2016.

The GRAMMY-nominated You Should Be Here has received an enormous amount of critical acclaim.

Check out some recent inclusion in “Best Of 2015” round-ups below.

YOU SHOULD BE HERE: Los Angeles Times’ Best Albums of 2015 - The year's finest R&B album came from a largely unknown 20-year-old. Self-assured tales of romantic yearning and heartbreak are woven over refreshingly bright productions reminiscent of early 2000s neo-soul. Kehlani's versatility is astounding as she flips among being earnest, hopelessly optimistic, lustful and inspirational.- LOS ANGELES TIMES

YOU SHOULD BE HERE: Complex’s Best Albums of 2015 - Kehlani’s down-to-earth personality shines through the album’s themes, and her vulnerability is clear through her lyrics. But it’s the marriage of jazz, R&B, pop ballads, and bare-boned confessionals, thanks in part to her right-hand producer Jahaan Sweet, that carries the project. It’s a supportive backdrop for a young woman learning about herself all while life happens, and her honesty and transparency serve almost like a self-help guide through 15 stunning tracks. - COMPLEX

"ALIVE": NPR’s Favorite Songs of 2015 - Kehlani's 2015 mixtape You Should Be Here is a rollercoaster of emotions with a glimpse of hope at the end of the journey. And while you catch the brightness from the beginning, there's nothing like when you arrive: That's "Alive," the song where the R&B singer candidly embraces the bad to find peace and really — I mean really — enjoy the good.- NPR

"ALIVE": The Fader’s 107 Best Songs of 2015 - “Alive,” the closer of her album-presented-as-mixtape You Should Be Here, is a pact between one self-empowered artist and her self-empowered fans. You can start over as many times as you want, it promises. I believe her.- THE FADER

"BRIGHT": Complex’s 50 Best Songs Of 2015 - Such confidence is why we love Kehlani.- COMPLEX
