About No Jogging For Today:

Hailing from Nantes, France, No Jogging For Today consists of five musicians with separate and diverse musical backgrounds. Representing the traditions of hardcore/punk, death and thrash metal, jazz and blues, and hip-hop this quintet seeks to fuse these disparate genres and distill a new musical sensibility, ever-more sparse and spacious. Warm and expansive, the sound of No Jogging For Today wraps and comforts one like a favorite old sweater. Their music, the sonic equivalent of the last ray of sun fading out on a cold day, juxtaposes aggression and introspection. Driven by deep feeling dedicated to pulling from their musical roots to create something new and possessing a deep and uninhibited spirit, No Jogging For Today projects limitless passion for being serious while not taking life seriously.
