Today, the band have released a playthrough video of the first single from Phenotype, entitled "New Horizons". The Dutch sextet offer modern metal at its finest and have done so for over a decade now. No fashionable compromises, no "fast food music". "New Horizons" stands for the last five years the band has faced and above all the future of TEXTURES. It’s an honest, catchy and boisterous metal track longing to be played at steaming festival grounds.

Part one of musical diptych is the bands fifth album, Phenotype. It will be released on February 5th, 2016 via Nuclear Blast. The 60-minute song-based album presents an eclectic overview of what modern metal offers while preserving the catchy, innovative and progressive songs that TEXTURES represent. The new virtuosos Uri Dijk (synth) and Joe Tal (guitar) deliver a new, harmonic vibe to the mature TEXTURES sound.
