Dallas, TX - February 13, 2015 - Third String Festivals has announced that they will be bringing back Unsilent Night Music Festival this December, as well as plans to expand outside of Texas. "We've been fortunate enough to make some very strategic partnerships that will help us expand the current scope of what we are doing. In 2016 we plan to be putting on festivals in at least 2-3 other states besides Texas,"festival founder Mike Ziemer stated. "We will be changing the name of our flagship festival 'South By So What?!' to 'So What?! Music Festival' and bringing the brand to new markets in 2016. When analyzing our ticket sales data over the past 5 years, we've seen an increasing amount of traffic coming from outside of Texas as well as outside of the United States. Our festival has become a destination event and the time feels right to bring it to new markets."

Third String Festivals' upcoming South By So What?! Music Festival, taking place March 20th - 22nd in Grand Prairie, TX, boasts over 150 bands over 3 days. 2015 marks the 8th year of the festival and 11th year that Ziemer has been producing concerts. Third String Festivals' other well-known festival, Unsilent Night, took place in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2012, also in the Dallas, TX area. Ziemer notes that with the expansion into new markets, attendees can expect the same bang-for-their-buck value that they currently get for both South By So What?! and Unsilent Night. "Our goal is to take what we have learned here in Texas and bring it to new markets: Multiple stages, headliner bands, up-and-coming bands, local openers, and a very affordable ticket price. We are constantly speaking to attendees who tell us to bring these festivals to their markets, especially California, Florida, and the Midwest. These people are driving and flying in to every festival we have, and it seems like the perfect time to bring these festivals to their part of the country."

Ziemer will also be relocating to Los Angeles in April of this year to work with strategic partners in growing and expanding the company. Third String Festivals will continue to have an office in Dallas as well as a team of people working on club shows year round. Regarding the move, Ziemer explains, "My team in Dallas is so strong and very able to handle everything that is going on here, it feels like the perfect time to relocate to where the action is. It's hard to take meetings with potential sponsors, agents, managers, labels, etc. when you are halfway across the country. Being in the center of the music industry in Los Angeles will allow us to partner with new people that share our vision and successfully expand our business outside of just Texas."

With three major festivals currently underway, Third String Festivals currently has its eyes on the horizon. Event-goers can expect more festivals to be announced for 2016in the coming months. For more information, please visit: https://www.facebook.com/ThirdStringFestivals
