What happens when you candy-coat Alanis Morissette's breakout album?  For the answer to that question, you simply need to listen to the debut from Julian Moon.  "Good Girl" kicks this disc off and the pop sensibility combined with the innuendo-filled lyrics creates a catchy track that will keep you coming back spin after spin.  "Rebound" has a cool do-wop feel to it, while keeping an acoustic feel intact.  The content of the lyrics , which is disguised well by the mood and tempo of the track, is driven home by Ms. Moon's vocals.  "2am" is a cool track that covers a topic experienced by many daily - the sensation that strikes bars and clubs around last call.  The ethereal vocals rest nicely against the musical accompaniment.  "Popularity" is a cool track that showcases the sultrier, deeper side of Moon's vocal range.  The chorus is catchy and plays well against the rhythmic pace of the musical track.  "The Fault In Our Stars" is the longest track on the disc, clocking in at about 4-1/4 minutes.  The earthy vocals are a perfect blend of emotion that easily convey the sentiment of the lyrics.  This is one the better tracks on the disc, from vocals, to lyrics, to instrumentation.

"How To Break A Heart" features a beautifully played piano piece that duets nicely with Julian from open to close.  The build up at the chorus allows the vocals to drive the sound of the track from verse to verse.  "One Penny" is a fun track that builds a feel good track around tongue-in-cheek lyrics.  The drive of the tempo keeps the song light and poppy.  "A Cup Of Coffee" is nothing more than a fun track designed to vent and maybe catch a few smiles or laughs along the way.  Don't get lost in the lyrics and miss out on the cool acoustic guitar work that dances lightly under Moon's vocals.  "Just Go With It" comes across with a different vibe from other tracks on the disc, but fits well within the confines of the disc and its other tracks.  "Loser" closes the disc with more airy pop goodness.  The vocals are fun and convey the light nature of the lyrics.  The tempo of the track, along with the simple arrangement gets the foot tapping and prompts you to hit play and restart this disc from the beginning.
