Los Angeles based Go Betty Go are back and here to stay with the release of their long awaited EP REBOOT, which debuted today on CMJ’s “Radio 200” as the only self-released effort in the top 10. Reboot was produced by Ted Hutt (The Gaslight Anthem, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Flogging Molly) and fan-funded via a Pledge Music campaign.

Reunited with the original line-up Go Betty Go are sisters Nicolette (lead vocals) and Aixa Vilar (drums,) Betty Cisneros (guitar,) and Michelle Rangel (bass.)

With REBOOT the band has created an even richer and more engaging sound then their earlier releases, loaded with lush atmosphere yet still ably upholding the banging, high impact GBG sound.

Formed in 2000 when they were all attending high school in Glendale California, Go Betty Go swiftly ascended from local shows to a standing room only weeknight residency at Los Angeles dive Mr. T Bowl’s to a national reputation via reams of critical acclaim and non-stop gigging.  Early on the band caught the attention of Los Angeles Independent SideOneDummy Records and released their debut EP, Worst Enemy in 2004. They almost immediately hit the road and surged through two lengthy Vans Warped Tours, frequent appearances in Mexico, endless hometown shows and an invasion of South by Southwest.
