March 10, 2015 - Extraordinary singer and songwriter Taylor Berrett has released his debut album Great Falls today, through Warner Bros. Records. Taylor has won early acclaim from the likes of People, TeenVogue, Seventeen, and ARTISTdirect, who describe Great Falls as "a vibrant, visual, and vivacious record. From the rustic acoustic guitar to the bright piano, it immediately comes to life, embodying the wayfarer spirit at its heart." Alongside UK-based producer Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, One Direction), Taylor has crafted an album that combines the best of an acoustic-guitar-based style with the singer's added soul and carefully crafted lyrics driving it home. As MTV Buzzworthy proclaims, "His vocals are so heartfelt, you can't help but be sucked in."

Taylor's honest and passionate songwriting has been garnering a tremendous amount of attention for the young artist from Virginia. People Magazine recently highlighted Taylor as one of their "People Picks" for the week, lauding the "22-year-old newcomer [who] wears his heart on his sleeve"; and TeenVogue.com loves how "Taylor's style of music is the type that perfectly puts you at ease and can be on repeat all day long."

Always a writer at heart, Taylor was initially drawn specifically to songwriting for "the way that it allows for storytelling not only through words, but also through music and rhythm." Excited by that concept, he found his way to the production company of SRP Music Group (helmed by Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers, known for signing and developing Rihanna), who in turn led him to iconic songwriter Kara DioGuardi and Warner/Chappell Music, and finally to a signing with WBR in the summer of 2013.

"One of the most important things to me is that my songs have value to people," he says. "If after three and a half minutes, someone feels better than they did before-or at least looks at something in a new or different way-then I feel like I've done my job as a songwriter and a musician."
