New York-based artist/producer/songwriter/DJ Penguin Prison (aka Christopher Glover) recently released his new single “Never Gets Old.” Co-written with Amanda Warner and Peter Wade of the electronic duo MNDR, the song is taken from PENGUIN PRISON’s forthcoming second album LOST IN NEW YORK due May 5 on Downtown Records. With its 90's grunge inspired distorted guitar stabs and driving bass line, “Never Gets Old” feels like you're driving 100 MPH inside of a video game. Says Chris, “The brand new thing isn't always better than what you've been using for many years. This song is dedicated to everything that never goes out of style that you can do a million times and never get tired of." Last October, Penguin Prison released “Calling Out,” the album’s lead single co-written with DJ/production duo Oliver, on IDOLATOR.com The first official release since his self-titled debut, “Calling Out” was the product of divine creative inspiration: it was both conceived and recorded in the span of a single day at Oliver’s studio in Los Angeles. SPIN.com has noted of the track (10/14), “A huge welcome comeback….Hits all the pop pleasure centers.”
