Jacksonville, FL rockers Lawless Hearts have released an EP which demonstrates that youngsters still understand what rock and roll is about.  The title track "Creatures Of Habit" opens the EP and we are treated to riffs galore on top of some gritty rock vocals compliments of Alex Marie.  The bass and drums keep the song flowing from open to close.  "If I Have To" is next and has a Guns 'N' Roses feel to the opening, but soon the music and mood shift to straight ahead rock with anthemic background vocals and chugging guitar from Michael Thomas and Justus Sutherland.  "Oblivion" is a slower and moodier rocker that ties all of the different tracks together with a gutsy tune that isn't a full-blown rocker at first, but grows balls after a cool guitar solo at the bridge.  Closer "Fallout" gets an injection from a solid and heavy rhythm section - Rob Joseph on bass and drummer Corey Ahlquist.  Overall, this EP should please most rockers.
