Cox’s performances consistently deliver some of the greatest, most memorable live music experiences.  Though Cox is known as an actor, his first love is music, and his music has been described as an eclectic tapestry of songs and stories woven into a reflection on the human condition. A songwriter, singer, guitarist, and actor, audiences old and young alike will take much away from the live concert experience. Cox has been described as a consummate storyteller, and audiences find his shows uniquely engaging.

Of playing the historic Franklin Theatre, Cox said he looked forward to spending time with the venue’s loyal following. “The Franklin Theatre has a long history as a home for some of the greatest acts in music,” Cox said. “I’m humbled to be a part of this theatre’s legacy, and I hope audiences will feel the same way.”

Cox is a popular character actor, who has appeared on dozens of television shows and movies over his storied career. His television credits include recurring roles on popular shows, such as “Stargate: SG-1” and “The Starter Wife,” while his motion picture career includes Robocop, Total Recall, and Taps.  He is currently appearing in the Michael Douglas film Beyond the Reach, which premiered April 17.

In addition to the live performance, patrons who purchase Cabaret-level tickets will also gain admission to an exclusive meet-and-greet with Cox. Tickets for Ronny Cox, Live at the Franklin Theatre, are on sale now through the Franklin Theatre Box Office. Curtain is at 8 p.m., and the house opens an hour before the show. Seating is limited.
