April 1, 2015 - In a world where most of the hardest hitting, heaviest bands have members that are now pushing 60+ years in age, The Greatest Hits are finally here to rock your fucking head off, launch it into outer space and shoot it beyond the dark side of the moon.

The four-piece from Tuvalu (conveniently located midway between Hawaii and Australia) were noticed last year after multiple performances at SXSW, The Great Escape, Canadian Music Week, Midem and the career making CMJ Music Marathon.

“Oh, man it was so fucking great getting off the islands here for the first time,” remarked 18 year old lead singer Fats Riles.  “We flew all around the world last year, played for countless labels, A&R executives, dentists, women, children, you name it.  We quickly realized we had the goods.”

“We were all looking for a career direction,” commented 17 year old bass player Peter Couger.  Being a self made music fan I was surfing around MTV’s website a couple of years ago, cause you know that’s what you do… and I noticed there wasn’t a single major band from our country.” http://www.mtv.com/artists/location/Tuvalu/ “I lit up like a fucking Christmas tree and called Fats and said ‘we are starting the greatest muthersucking band in the world T-O-D-A-Y.’”

Fats and Peter (the MAIN songwriters) quickly recruited guitarist Pinfin Richard along with Aratoba Ubolela on skins.  From the first rehearsals it was CRYSTAL CLEAR that The Greatest Hits had the chops.

During their touring in 2014, many asked the group about their unique and odd band name.  Fats explained, “Look, if you’re gonna put a band together and NOT call yourselves The Greatest Hits, well you’re just shooting too low man.  I have more pride than that.  We’re not competing with today’s ‘so called’ artists.  We’re here to bounce The Stones and The Beatles and Zeppelin.  We have climbed the mountain with these songs and we KNOW we are the best.”

Worldwide tour dates are in the works for The Greatest Hits.  Their debut album The Greatest Hits Volume One drops next month.

“Look, you all already know after this album goes mega Platinum this year, we’ll be back with Volume Two.  Don’t you fret my pets.” Added Fats.

More details to come…  You have been warned.
