The Seattle, WA based AWAKEN THE EMPIRE manages to fuse atmospheric alt-rock with raw, heavy emotion. Encompassed by a sound that plays out more like a cinematic movie score, and the group’s constant use of encrypted codes and hidden messages, AWAKEN THE EMPIRE is definitely not your typical rock band. AWAKEN THE EMPIRE’s much-anticipated debut offering, Aurora, is set for a July 24th release through Another Century.

Damien Lawson (vocals) states, “AWAKEN THE EMPIRE is more than just a band. We are a movement. We are here to inspire people to fight for their dreams, and fight to have their voices heard. Our new record, Aurora, is the product of that fight. We have been through an unbelievable amount of ups and downs in the years making this album, and we’ve had everything taken away from us, both physically, and emotionally. Through it all, the one constant for us, the light at the end of the tunnel, was this record coming out. The chance to have our message heard. We are here to make a statement, and Aurora is that statement. Aurora is that message."

Don’t miss AWAKEN THE EMPIRE touring across North American with 10 Years, Nonpoint and The Family Ruin from July 17th – August 15th (see all dates below). Be sure to stay tuned to www.facebook.com/awakentheempire for all album news and tour updates.

"We are also so excited to be touring with 10 Years this summer. We’ve been fans of their band for a long time and I know our message is really going to resonate with their fans. I can’t wait to connect with all of the bands on this tour and I seriously can’t wait to connect with all of our fans throughout the country. Our Insomniacs. They have been so patient and supportive and I’m really looking forward to showing them all of the love that they have shown us."
