NEWS: Instru-metal duo TEMPEL unveils 'Carvings On The Door' guitar play-through video

Arizona-based instrumental outfit TEMPEL will release their sophomore effort, "The Moon Lit Our Path," via Prosthetic Records on June 16. The follow-up to their 2014 debut "On the Steps of the Temple" – lauded as "one of the darkest, most chilling releases in instrumental metal" (Fear.net) – sees the band further develop their compelling sound, which mixes progressive, black, death and post-metal into a thunderous sonic cocktail.
Today, TEMPEL teams with Gear Gods to showcase their new song "Carvings in the Door" with a playthrough video led by guitarist Ryan Wenzel. Check it out below or directly on Gear Gods website here: geargods.net/video/tempel-guitar-playthrough/. You can also get an instant download of the track when you pre-order the new album digitally via iTunes or Bandcamp!

"The Moon Lit Our Path" is also available for physical pre-order via the Prosthetic Records webshop on CD and gatefold 2LP, including an exclusive limited-edition 180-gram clear vinyl variant, athttp://store.prostheticrecords.com/bands/tempel. Additionally, you can pre-order a new pressing ofTEMPEL's debut album, which has been sold out for months.
Hailed by MetalSucks as "the proverbial needle in the instru-metal haystack," TEMPEL consists of Wenzel (guitars, keys) and Rich Corle (drums). Founded in 2003 as a full band, the group eventually dwindled down to its remaining two core members in 2006. Instead of pursuing new additions, Wenzel and Corle decided to continue on as a two-piece instrumental band and focus their craft in the recording studio. Blending the darker elements of metal with the melodic, the duo initially self-released "On The Steps of The Temple," before Prosthetic reissued the album in 2014 to critical acclaim.
Stay tuned in the coming days for the premiere of a new track and follow the band online at:
