Athens, GA --- Lullwater and Hannah Zale will stage a joint bill at Athens' GA Theatre on Saturday, June 6.  In celebration of the local music scene, the two artist both celebrate recent releases.  This event is timed as an album release party for Zale's FORTRESS, while Lullwater recently issued a gratis download of their collaboration with Ryan White, "Vendetta Black," available until June 1 here: http://tinyurl.com/vendettablack.  Plans for Lullwater's upcoming album release REVIVAL will be unveiled shortly.

Lullwater's John Strickland shares, "Athens, GA has been my home for over a decade now and it still seems to surprise me. Its full of great music, food, art, and is a cultural oasis in the South. We love playing our hometown and are getting excited about playing the famous GA Theatre for the second time. It's exciting to see a wide range of rock fans starting to come out to our shows. From kids to older adults, it is rewarding to us when we can feel people connecting to the music in the live setting."  Hannah Zale adds, "I am so excited to be back in Athens and having my debut record Fortress release party at the best venue in the Southeast, the Georgia Theatre. Athens is the place that made me into the musician and the person I am today. Sounds cheesy, but these stages, these people, and this energy is magic. There is nothing like it."

Hannah Zale has released a new video for "Open Up Your Eyes" which can be viewed here: ZALE - Open Up Your Eyes.  Lullwater recently premiered a making of video tied to the band's gratis download initiative which can be viewed here:http://www.guitarworld.com/lullwater-premiere-exclusive-vendetta-black-making-video.

Lullwater returned to the studio in early 2015, recording the band's follow-up to their self-titled album.  As an advocate for old school recording technology while still embracing the benefits of Protools, front man John Strickland chose El Paso, TX'Sonic Ranch to deliver an environment of seclusion and pure focus to track REVIVAL.  With LULLWATER prior he chose to record at Seattle's legendary London Bridge Studios in December, 2011 with an interest of entering the historic rooms that made a significant impact to defining the Seattle sound.

The journey of Lullwater is fueled by the spirit of pure independence.  Over the last several years, the quartet from Athens, GA has toured consistently building a fan base market by market without the engine of rock radio fueling widespread discovery.  It is in the spirit of resilience, passion, unity, defiance, and love for their fans that the band has yielded a successful cottage industry.  REVIVAL continues the growth of the band's own Dinobird Records label, following LULLWATER, which was issued on September 17, 2013. The band's commitment to passion, honesty, drive, perseverance, and integrity will continue to fuel their engine to reach the heights of developing that elusive national presence.  The band members are John Strickland (Lead Vocals / Rhythm Guitar), Brett Strickland (Lead Guitar), Roy “Ray” Beatty (Bass) and Joe Wilson (Drums).
