Regarding the song, the band states, "Miss Jones is the song we based the entire EP off of. From lyrics, to sound, to album art everything evolved around her character and the story behind her. In real life Miss Jones really screwed with my mind, but we took her craziness to a completely different level during the writing process, and then went even further with it in the production of the music video."
